Children’s privacy

We are especially aware of the importance of providing a safe and secure online learning experience for children. The TJF does not collect personal information directly from children under 13 years of age. Most commonly, teachers, parents, and guardians submit information about the children which enables the website to generate usernames and passwords for each child using the site. If a user wishes to establish an account, they must be over 13 years of age; otherwise, a teacher, parent or guardian must give permission. To protect student privacy, student work made public on the website will only be identified by first name and last initial, followed by state.

Please be aware that this website links to other websites. We are not responsible for the content or security of these sites.

Security of usernames and passwords

Users are responsible for the security of their username and password. It is recommended that users keep their username and password in a safe place. Teachers do have access to student usernames and passwords in the event that a student loses or forgets their username or password.

Changes to privacy policy

TJF reserves the right to change the privacy policy and will update any changes on this page.
